I have appreciated the responses to last statement (see below) that I have received from other members of 9/11 Truth Seattle who watch our site, are on our mailing list and come to our events but who do not attend the monthly meetings where the local "9/11 Truth Strategy" is apparently decided.

As of 5/16/08 9:10 am the results are:

Supportive of my actions:  25

Unsupportive:  4

Uncommitted/Conflicted (don't support the theories but don't want me to shut down):  4

Beyond the raw numbers I found it interesting that the 4 people who disagreed with me all resorting to calling names.  One even evoked the spirits of the dead to shit on my smug head.  My point has always been that it is not the difference in opinions about the theories surrounding 9/11 it is that these types of public attacks are typical of "no-planers" and "energy beamers".  Please read more about disinformation:

I support the goal of working together with other rational citizens to demand a new, completely open and internationally monitored investigation of the events surrounding 9/11.   I will not pass out flyers that I don't support.  I won't talk about theories that I don't support and I won't support the actions of a minority of 9/11 Truther's in the Seattle area that meet together and think that they should control the public outreach in our very important metropolitian area.

Once Ben has found a new web master and built his own site he will redirect his domain there and you can expect the same kind of content that you find on other No-Plane and Energy beam sites.  They will be attacking all of the other researchers in the Movement who disagree with them and who have worked so hard to gain credibility for the entire 9/11 Truth Movement.  The will call the rest of us "Plane Huggers", "Brainwashed by the False 9/11 Truthee Movement" and they will continue to add confusion and distrust within the broader community.  This is what is happening in other cities. 

When the dust settles I will still maintain the website at www.Seattle911Truth.org in hopes of finding others willing to work together to inform our fellow citizens that the official story is a lie and that we must all support a new investigation. 

For those of you who have used the "...just cause you didn't get your way you are going to take your ball and go home" analogy.  This is not my ball.  It is my sacred trust.  I pay for it,  I do all the work on it and now I am going to put it aside until there are others who want to help.   Call me what you will.  I support the general mission of 911Truth.org,  I am a grassroots organizer and support their activist website www.911TruthConnect.org.   I AM going home with the ball.  Home is where the heart is.

Reluctantly I am having to suspend my web and financial support for the 911TruthSeattle.org group.  The current members of the group have decided to sponsor public events that promote theories such as "No Planes" and "Energy Beam Weapons". 

I have passionately fought against the trend of promoting controversial researchers and theories to the general public that we are trying to win over and I have lost by an overwelming margin . . . of the 12 people who came to the last meeting. 

I agree with and support the opinions widely shared within the general main stream 9/11 Truth Movement that these theories undermine the mainstream credibility and progress that the movement is making.  I have always dedicated this site to those who wanted to work together to move beyond the promotion and debate of "theories" and concentrat on public education of the cores issues that we all agree on.  That there is a preponerence of evidence that the Bush administration and the media have ignored in an obvious coverup that must be revealed for America to move forward in it's relationships throughout the world.

I continue to support the Mission and Committment of 911Truth.org and the TruthMove.org 2008 Declaration - Standards and Strategies for the 9/11 Truth Movement.
