WE NEED TO DEVELOP OUR DEMANDS

The 9/11 Truth Movement is going to go mainstream. We need to develop a List of Demands. Our potential, as a movement, reaches far beyond merely the indictment, removal, and prosecution of individuals. As the late William Sloane Coffin said: "9/11 Truth is a very important issue with the power to bring lasting change to our country."
We Need To Develop Our Demands

Tens of millions of people are going to see this recommendation.
Loose Change is scheduled to hit the theaters this summer.
The 9/11 Truth Movement has got to be ready for mainstream attention.

This is a really good point Jerit. 911 truth is coming out, but what do we do with it? First off, I think we want an independent bi-partisan investigation. We want to know exactly what happened, and we want to hold those who were involved accountable, and bring real Justice to the victims of 911. I think that the thinktank people in the media have been trying to come up with a way to have 911 truth come out, but at the same time save face. I think they are going to burn the current administration, and try to put Hillary or Obama on a pedistal sticking to the false left-right paradigm (Oberman's rebuplican vs. Democrat comments to Guliani/ Farenheit 911). Watch for her or some other presidential canidates (Gore) to come out in the open behind 911 truth. We have a solid grassroots base in 911 truth, and I think that if they try to open, recover and mislead us again we're going to have riots... at least I hope so. ;) Careful who you trust...

What are your next steps Jerit? Once you identify a problem and commit to being part of the solution you need to join you energies with others you support who have already gotten started or you have to initiate new actions or approaches.
I wonder if there are any existing initiatives to "Clearly organize and state the steps that the 9/11 Truth Movement would accept as signs of a true, open, transparent, and no holds barred investigation.
If not, there should be so the only options would be to wait until someone starts it or start it ourselves.
How should we go about it? Can you do some research on any other "Demand" movements. It may be that we should create an on-line list of existing Polls, Petitions, Letters of Support, etc. that we find so that all of our members can easily and quickly support existing projects and then create a Forum to begin to collect ideas on "What do we want? Let's create a list of clear demands."

Our sole demand appears to be a new, truly fair investigation into 9/11. But appearances can be deceiving. Speaking for myself, I demand we do like Andrew Jackson and KILL THE PRIVATE CENTRAL BANK!
Come see THE MONEY MASTERS (3.5 hrs) next week at 212 Alaskan Way S, #408 - Pioneer Square, Seattle - Two blocks south of the Ferry Terminal, underneath the Viaduct - http://handdrawnstars.net/MovieNight.htm

I agree on the demands.
Not only we as individuals but as a group. We have to lead the horse to water and hope it drinks for lack of a better metaphor.
So as the 911 truth group of Seattle I think establishing an inital list of demands and WHAT actions or non actions warrants these demands.
We can definetley follow the trail to the banks but it would be nice to leave a trail of crumbs for others on the net who are not at this point yet.
I think we need numbers to make anything happen on a larger scale than our own circle.

I think stating what we already know is a starting point that could lead to further study groups and investigations etc..

Stating what we already know is a GREAT place to start, or, if you are more prudently inclined, it could backfire. Then again, I think we sometimes shoot ourselves in the foot by being TOO careful, you know, so weighing the pros and cons of it, yeah, I think we SHOULD call it like it is. I guess so long as we can MAKE SENSE, that's cool. But wait, no, now I'm wavering again. Now I think we should play it safe and be like Bob Bowman and say, "The only thing we know about 9/11 is that we DON'T know, and we should know," or something like that. Damn. I thought I could get behind that. Wait, now I can again. Check this out: People are hungry for "big picture" understanding, once you start opening up Pandora's Box and altering their world-view with a revision of 9/11. I think there's a lot of tapping in to people's general sense that something is wrong. We should just be careful not to get too weird. Or maybe that's OK, too. Damn. Slippery slope. But we should say we want peace, first, then spend as much time bemoaning and commiserating about the horrors of the "war on terror." And then, AFTER we have bonded with the peace activist(s) in question, THEN we may safely proceed to testing the waters on 9/11. Hopefully they'll be inclined to agree with us after we agreed with them. That's what I'm trying to say. Jerit.
