Subject: RE: Promotion of "September Clues" and the No Planes Theory is irresponsible
Message: With all due respect for Ben, I sincerely hope he reconsideres his position. I've only been preaching the need for a new investigation publicly for about 6 months now, but most of my co-workers and neighbors are quick to jump to the crazy 'conspiracy theorist' label and point to trivial statements as proof that all 911 Truthers are unstable. Whereas its important to not deny anyone their free speech, 911 Truthers must constantly fight for our credibility and we will not succeed in getting a critical mass of voters if we don't have some policy guidelines on what is put forward to the public.

I fear that Mike may be an 'indicator species' of how public pursuit of any unsupported theory will result in a perspective of declining credibility to the general citizenry. In addition, I fail to understand why it would be important to publicly propose unsupportable theories when there are plenty of clear examples of why we need an unbiased investigation.
