Myself and another and another truther Erik Hovden bannered I-5 at the 56th street overpass. The wind was blowing pretty hard, but we held the banner firm. A trooper showed up at the start and told us that we couldn't secure the banner to the rail, and to not mess with traffic. We continued bannering for another hour, and then a Tacoma policeman showed up and told us that "Someone complained about our sign". He didn't ask us to take it down, but he called for back-up. We talked to the officer, and asked him about 911. He said "It doesn't matter, people don't care". We told him that's why we were out there, so as to inform people, and get them to care. After a few minutes another Tacoma officer showed up, and then another, and then the State Trooper from before showed up as well.
The female officer came up to me and started barrading me with accusations that I hadn't listened to the trooper before when he said that we had to keep moving, and couldn't stay in one place. I patiently listened, and then informed her that the Trooper had spoken with Erik, and not me. She then said that she agreed with the peace movement, but we might affect traffic. I told her we stood for 911 truth, and she immediatly said she agreed, and than asked me if I had seen Loose Change, and 911: In Plane Site. I was amazed by this, and the conversation took a lighter note. She gave us advice as to where to safely banner next time, and also gave us a few websites to look up the laws pertaining to bannering.
All in all it was a great experience. The truth is on our sides. Cops know, but it is up to us to bring the truth out. |

you guys are nuts, but seriously, yeah, after seeing bob's footage of us bannering montlake on friday the 11th, i thought how positive an experience that was, maybe because it was friday i suddenly think, but anyway, it made me want to do it again. i think you got the 20% response rate b/c people "had a case of the mondays." great news about the cops...confirms me in my belief that we have to be presenting a whole unified FRONT with 9/11 truth merely as the key to cracking open the whole . . . the whole disgusting conspiracy . . . which after all is not so hard to get a handle on . . .
i mean, i had an experience with a cop that was also aware of 9/11 and went easy on me because he clearly sympathized, cut me major slack . . . and bus drivers have stopped to tell me they agree, when it's on the back of my jacket . . . i know this is soft-in-the-head of me, but i can't help getting the feeling that 9/11 truth is pretty much out there in the public domain now . . . as if it's up to 70% already . . . with the die-hard undereducated types still 'staying the course' and standing by their beloved leader....
i don't know... i still think we need to be ready to evolve past the stage of raising awareness at some point and into the 'now what?' stage of things...
demanding a new investigation is a good start, but i still think we should really go for a thorough housecleaning and gutting of the federal government . . .
i think the rats nest of corruption has bred a lot of offspring . . . i think getting behind ron paul in a major way might be a great place to go next . . .
