General "in-place" Text Editing:  

Many of the Modules (or functional areas) on you portal are Text/HTML text boxes.  You can edit much of the text in the Left, Center, and Right pane (column) areas by just clicking into it.  You will see a red box around the text box you are currently editing.  If it is big it might move the entire screen around to find its center.  It can be disorienting.  Once you are in the red box just find the text you want to change and directly add to, edit or delete the data. 

You can also edit the Titles of each of the Module areas like the "Village Voice" heading on the top of the left pane.  Just click into the field to activate the edit feature and you can change the title.  Enter or click outside the area to save.

There is a third and important way to edit your text.  At the top left corner of each Text box there is a downward facing triangle.  Click that to see the "Module Menu".  If yo click "Edit Text" you will open the text in a text editor with buttons in include links to files, weblinks, etc, pictures, tables, etc.  Just click Update at the bottom of th e page when you are done.
