I was one of the ones who was onboard from 9-11.
First off, I learned about the govt. propensity for lying as someone who sought
the truth about the income tax. This lead me to other topics such as US vs
state citizenship, the federal reserve system, the voluntary nature of socialistic
insecurity, the Uniform Commercial Code, etc. I was hip to this material circa
1990. I suspected that the OKC bombing in 95 was an inside job but wasn't sure until
I saw the Alex Jones video "America: Destroyed By Design". I was listening to Alex
on 25July01 when he predicted that an event would be staged in lower manhattan,
either at the WTC or Empire State bldg. as an excuse for a police state roll-out.
I knew instantly that it was an inside job for that reason, plus the nature of the collapse
and the uncanny parallels to the JFK shooting. (I was 10 at the time and remember it
clearly, you just dont forget these things, my family were all news junkies and neither
my mom or my older brother bought the Oswald as lone gunman story)
At first, considering all the flag waving mindlessness masquerading as patriotism,
I was somewhat soft in my approach, saying "you should watch this video, there
is more to 9-11 than the media is telling you". But now it is time to stand up and
shout out loud: "NINE ELEVEN WAS AN INSIDE JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

For me the realization came in 2006 when I read David Ray Griffin's "The Myth and the Reality" on the 9/11 truth website. I'd first discovered the website when I searched online for Kevin Barrett, whose name peaked my interest when I heard about his controversial views and teaching on 9/11 at the University of Wisconsin. My curiosity about Barrett led me to Griffin's work and the whole 9/11 truth movement. The more I read, the more horrified I became. But what I read made sense and confirmed my own suppressed suspicions. This wasn’t a big “wow” moment for me, but a deeply unsettling sense of the truth that I didn’t even want to accept, yet growing more and more profound as I considered the facts. It was a sort of paradigm shift: as I peeled the layers of evidence back, I began to view the world–the cultural and political landscapes in which we live–in disturbing and alarming ways. Looking back to 9/11/01, though, I think a seed of doubt had been planted in my mind that very day...
That morning, before I’d seen any TV images, I heard about the planes hitting the towers from co-workers, and then, from a history teacher at the school where I worked, that the twin towers had collapsed. From this incredible news I’d expected the destruction to be far worse than it was, as in a toppling collapse crashing over much of lower Manhattan, not a demolition-style implosion. In shock and perhaps relieved that the buildings' collapse hadn't killed even more people in the surrounding area, I suspended my judgement and further scrutiny of the events. But once my mind-set began to shift in 2006, that initial question resurfaced: why had the twin towers simply fallen into their own footprints? I’d grown up in Manhattan, visited the public observatory at the top of the South Tower (2 WTC), and knew my way around Wall Street. How could these buildings merely crumble into themselves only minutes after the planes hit them? I deduced: It must have taken meticulous planning to demolish these huge buildings (along with 7 WTC) and to synchronize the catastrophe with commercial jets crashing into them first. It must have required ample foreknowledge, stealth and skill in staging the ballistics, and the sophistication and systematic secrecy to carry it all out.
I am still struck by the pivotal enormity of the events of September 11, 2001: so many lives were lost and directly affected at once. More and more I feel for the survivors of the victims of that day, our military personnel fighting a bogus war for oil in Iraq, and those who not only grieve their losses but must face the mainstream media’s whitewashing and our government’s lies and threats. I am disgusted and frustrated by the lack of accountability for and general attention to the 9/11 crimes and the many criminals who carried out these despicable acts, terrorists both foreign and domestic.
May we see a new, independent investigation into 9/11, and may those responsible be brought to justice with swift and decisive consequences.
